After twenty wonderful years filled with warm hospitality, Irma is saying farewell to VVP Verhuur Visserslust to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. For two decades, together with her team, she created a warm and welcoming home at the idyllic Vinkeveense Lakes. Guests were able to enjoy peace, nature and unique experiences here.

With great pride and enthusiasm, Kim and Merrill are taking over from Irma. Together with our three children, we look forward to continuing Irma’s legacy and building on everything she has created.

Why We Chose to Keep the Name Visserslust

To honour the rich history and our connection with the Vinkeveense Lakes, we chose to keep the name Visserslust. It represents everything that makes this special place so unique: peace, water and a welcoming home for people who love nature and water sports.

Kim brings her experience from the hotel industry. With a keen eye for service and comfort, she is committed to making every stay a memorable one. With his warm and sociable personality, Merrill welcomes guests with open arms and creates a personal, relaxed atmosphere.

Although Irma has officially retired, she will remain involved in the transition for some time. Her knowledge and dedication are invaluable, and who knows—you may still see her during your stay.
