Vinkeveense Plassen

Fishing at the Vinkeveense Plassen, for both sport fisherman as recreational fisherman, always is a unique experience. This great fishing spot is for many fishing lovers a favourite, with VVP Verhuur/Visserlust as an ideal place to stay. Fish species such as Carp, Perch, Pike, Pike-Perch, Eel etc. are often caught at the Vinkeveense Plassen.
The Vinkeveense Plassen exists out of three Plassen plus an adjacent polder area. If there is a strong wind coming from the North side you can fish very well at the blowholes on the South Plas or the Small Plas. When there is a strong wind from the South or South-West side we recommend you to go fishing on the North Plas. The polder area is a great place to fish under all circumstances.
SMALL MARINA
Several accommodations of VVP Verhuur/Visserslust are directly located next to the Vinkeveense Plassen. You can fish from the seat on your terrace. Guests who have rented an accommodation without direct access to the water are very welcome in our small marina. From there they can go fishing on our fishingdock which is located in our small marina.

LICENCE TO FISH

If you would like to go fishing at the Vinkeveense Plassen, you have to be a member of the Algemene Weesperhengelaarsbond (AWHB). If this is not the case, then you can buy a licence at the reception. With this licence you can go fishing at the Vinkeveense Plassen.

These licences are for the duration of a day or a week. There is also a licence for the duration of a year available from the AWHB. Night fishing is only allowed when you have a special licence, which is also handled by the AWHB. All licences can be bought at VVP Verhuur/Visserslust. The licences do not apply on the areas where fishing is prohibited. These areas are signposted.

GOOD TO KNOW

Guests are not allowed to clean fish in and around the accommodations of VVP Verhuur/Visserslust. Sports fisherman ‘catch and release’, they put the fish that they have caught back into the water, that is our motto as well. If you want to take the fish that you have caught anyway, ask our employees where you can clean the fish.

Nice Discounts

From September 15th until April 1st we have a special offer on the rental of a boat in combination with the rental of one of our accommodations. There is also the possibility to bring your own boat and place this near the rented accommodation. We follow special prices for these berths.
When you rent a boat at VVP Verhuur/Visserslust, you will always receive a map of the Vinkeveense Plassen along with some explanation of the boat and the Vinkeveense Plassen.
